Our History
Founded in early 2024 by Jess and Kelly, Reality Fitness emerged from a shared vision to create a fitness facility that embodies community, empowerment, and innovation. After leaving their previous gym, the duo dedicated themselves to earning certifications and securing resources to build a space where fitness dreams become reality. With over 10 years of combined experience in kickboxing and strength training, Jess and Kelly set out to create a bold, welcoming gym that serves as both a haven for fitness enthusiasts and a catalyst for personal transformation.

Group Fitness:
Cardio Kickboxing
Step into the action with our high-energy, 50-minute cardio kickboxing classes. Led by experienced instructors, these classes combine real gloves, real bags, and a supportive community for a workout that challenges your strength, endurance, and technique.
Open Gym Access
Prefer to work out at your own pace? Our Strength Station is open 24/7 and fully equipped with dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, squat racks, TRX systems, and more. Stop in anytime and follow our Workout of the Day for inspiration!

JESSICA UNDERWOOD
Co-Founder & Fitness Coach
Jessica is a certified fitness coach with over a decade of experience in the industry, specializing in group fitness, personal training, nutrition coaching, and strength and conditioning. As a proud ISSA-certified trainer and nutritionist with CPR/AED certification, Jessica is passionate about building a strong, supportive fitness community where individuals can achieve their goals and embrace a healthier lifestyle.
Jessica spent eight years at a local fitness studio, including four as Studio Manager, before deciding to pursue her dream of co-owning a fitness center with her long-time friend and now business partner, Kelly Elmore. Together, they created Reality Fitness—a space designed to serve people from all walks of life with 24-hour access, expert-led group classes, and personalized training programs.
When she’s not leading a high-energy kickboxing class or helping someone perfect their form, Jessica enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, paddleboarding, and participating in Spartan Races. With a history of dedication both as a hairstylist and now as a fitness professional, Jessica brings a unique blend of expertise, accountability, and compassion to help clients transform their lives.

Kelly Elmore
Co-Founder & Fitness Coach
Kelly Elmore’s fitness journey began at 18 when she joined her first gym and discovered her passion for movement, leading to a personal transformation that fueled her career. A Syracuse native, Kelly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition from Syracuse University and certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, and CPR/AED. With over five years of coaching experience and a deep understanding of fitness and nutrition, Kelly has helped countless clients achieve double-digit weight loss, increased strength, and lasting confidence.
Kelly’s transition into fitness coaching began in 2018 when she accepted a part-time coaching position while working in medical billing. Within a year, her passion led her to pursue coaching full-time, where she thrived as a trainer and nutrition coach, writing food manuals and designing personalized plans.
Known for her energy, dedication, and ability to connect with clients, Kelly builds strong relationships by celebrating wins, challenging limits, and delivering empowering, sweat-dripping classes. Outside of the gym, Kelly enjoys summers at Cayuga Lake, caring for her two dogs, Maverick and Dug, and spending time with her husband Mike of nearly seven years.
